When we include them in our house decor we can see improvements in our health, well-being, and even the quality of the air we breathe.

Biophilic design is a concept used in the construction industry to connect the occupants with the natural environment through direct and indirect nature and the conditions of space. This design is recognized for reducing stress, improving creativity and clarity of thought, and inciting the healing processes. Some of the biophilic design tools are sunlight exposure, air breeze, water, plants, and landscapes. The use of nature images and colors that we relate to also achieves the same effects.
Plants provide us with endless benefits to enrich the design of any space, but we must not forget that when choosing to incorporate a plant into space we must consider whether they can be poisonous to pets, promote allergies, or even present risks to the safety of children.

For many years we heard the myth that sleeping with plants was bad, however, NASA and hundreds of scientific investigations have shown that adding plants to our rooms improves air quality.
