The name of the brand is Biacha and takes as inspiration one of the first distiller tool of 2000 b.c. named capacha.

The bottle of Biacha is inspired by the culture of Capacha, a recent research shows that distilled beverages were known and elaborated by the Mesoamerican people before adopting the methods and tools of distillation of alcoholic beverages brought by Europeans, such as the Arabian alembic and the Filipino.

In Colima, Mexico, they found bule and trifacial vessels that were used to distill beverages. The experiments carried out with this type of vessels resulted in distilled agave beverages, which is why the researchers proposed the origin and development of a "Capacha-type Mesoamerican Distiller".

Biacha mezcal bottle was made for AMG Life & Arts. All the design was elaborated through current 3D modeling programs that later allowed its printing in plastic to generate the counter moulds and then manufacture it in ceramic. The source and design of the product packaging iconize and stylize the old design without separating from its graphic origin. The proposal generate a contrast of black and white in packaging and typography. In the center of the bottle we can see a small blown glass hummingbird made by Oaxaca artisans.
